Root, Abner C., Reuben and Daniel Colby, sons of Daniel Colby came from Canaan, New Hampshire in 1812 to Darien, NY. Their brother, Aaron came in 1816 to Darien, NY.

On the John Peck farm on the same road as Colby Family Cemetery is and almost a section south.

The stones are now broken and huddled around a tree.

DeLano

DeLano, Captain Lewis of the Revolutionary War is buried here, but we could not find a trace of his stone.

(Given in the survey of soldiers buried in Genesee County made in 1926 by the S. A. R.) One stone

still standing has the name broken off with the top part of the stone. Apparently the missing piece is now covered. This may be his stone.

Sutherland

Sutherland, John - Sacred to the memory of John Sutherland who d. August 31, 1821, @ 56y (given in the 1926 survey as a Major in the Revolution)
